Arunachal Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025 Attracts Rs 50,000 Crore in Investment Commitments

The Arunachal Pradesh Global Investors Summit (APGIS) 2025, held on February 8-9 at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre in Itanagar, concluded with investment commitments totalling over Rs 50,000 crore. A total of 45 Memoranda of Understanding were signed during the two-day event, spanning hydropower, tourism, logistics, IT-ITeS, and agri-horticulture sectors.

Key investors included Tata Power, NHPC Limited, ITC Hotels, Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan), and Samsung C&T (South Korea). Singapore-based CapitaLand announced plans for a Rs 800 crore integrated township project in Papum Pare district. The summit featured dedicated sessions on sustainable development, ease of doing business, and connectivity infrastructure.

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, who attended the event as the chief guest, praised Arunachal Pradesh's investor-friendly policies. "The state has made remarkable strides in simplifying business regulations. The single-window clearance system and the new APIIP portal demonstrate Arunachal's commitment to transparent governance," he said.
